As promised, the gortex lining kept out heavy snow and water.

The gortex worked to allow moist air to pass out of the glove. I experienced no sweaty hands (as I have for many years with other gloves), and my hands were dry even after inserting them into the glove wet (from the snow). I was impressed.

Some other glove reviews (on other products) also talked about insulation being insufficient. I did not find this to be a problem with this glove. I tend to have cold hands/feet, and I was skiing in approx 25F, heavily-snowing weather.
