Pelican 2010N Nemo Dive Series Light (Yellow) Review

I purchased the 2010N Nemo recoil LED as a back-up light for my night dives. It's quality is great, as you can expect from Pelican. The beam is very straight and focused, and can be used even during the day to peer into cracks and crevices in the reef. Many LED dive lights used as a back-up can be too weak to use during the day, but the 2010N does a very good job, especially considering it uses just one LED light. I say this only because if you dive with a canister LED light with three LED, you can really see the difference, but a canister light can easily set you back $700.+ On a night dive, the 2010N can also be a primary light. It's plenty bright. One word of caution to divers, although the 2010N has a built in clip, don't use it as a way to attach the light to your harness on you BC (I've lost one already using the built in clip, was a brain fart). Get a snap bolt and secure it by clipping it to your D ring. I've replaced my lost 2010N with a new one. Great product.

Picked this up to replace the stock gauge on my sv650 that was run over by some idiot. Works great, I didnt like the bolt they have you put on the disk brake though. It was too short, ill have to figure out a replacement some other time. LED's burned out for some unknown reason, they sent me new ones which work fine.

I ordered brown. I got black. I still like them but I knocked a star off because it wasn't what I ordered. They are very warm and very comfortable. I wear a size 13 It fit me good but I always thought I've needed like a 12 1/2 for the perfect fit with most other shoes. Anyhow this a good product. I went fishing in them and my feet didn't get wet. I live in Texas. We deal with either really hot or really cold. If you live where it is really hot all the time I might say avoid these they do an excellent job of keeping it toasty.

Update:

I have used the boots a total of 5 times maybe. One time out doors in the woods in semi wet condition. 1 shoe is perfect the other is breaking. I feel like I've wasted my money since I've only worn them a couple times and its already trashed. the sole is tearing and the water proof plating outside is coming apart. Thoroughly disappointed...
