I have a small auto repair shop in Arkansas and even though we don't have extremely cold winters I am a cold natured guy. I wanted something that I could wear UNDERNEATH my work uniform that would keep me warm in my shop without having to run the heater and this thing worked like MAGIC! Before I bought this I would freeze anytime the temperature outside was less than 45 degrees because my shop cannot be insulated and having to constantly open and close the bay doors you lose any heat that would have been built up anyway. Just for my ONE BAY garage it was going to cost me at least $100 a month to heat it. I put on this Ninja Suit and was out there the other morning when it was 22 degrees and I was perfectly comfortable...and I didn't even ever have to turn my heater on!!!! Yes, this thing is kinda pricey, but for the amount of money it is going to be saving me on heating bills I would say it is WELL worth it and I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone looking to stay warm!

Based on another reviewer's recommendation, I at first got the Bushnell Powerview 4x30 instead of these Xtra-Wide 4x21s. But I just wasn't satisfied with the field-of-view of the 4x30s (not only do the specs overestimate their ability, but they only apply to the width of view, not the height). With the 4x21s, the field of view actually seemed to be larger than the specs indicate, and provided a nice round image, as tall as it was wide. It was like the difference between night and day! Also, I didn't experience any eye fatigue as the other reviewer mentioned: this may be because I was watching football instead of basketball (less constant action and movement). But to be honest, if I get eye fatigue from these 4x21s, I would still rather use them than the 4x30s--I can take a break or let a friend use them if my eyes start getting tired (besides, I never like holding binoculars up to my head the whole game anyway).

I usually hike in Merrills. I also walk long distance (I'm talking 4-6 hours)
on the treadmill at home while I work ([...] - I do not work for
this company it's just a cool thing)...so I need good shoes. These shoes (for my
8.5 size feet were too big. I ordered larger due to the ratings and returned these.
I also ordered the 8.5 and kept those. The inner material is NOT soft - and thick
is better than thin, when it comes to socks ...I wear these to avoid blisters (medium weight)
injinji Performance Mini Crew Toesocks) ... So I'm keeping the
8.5. VERY LITTLE support in these shoes... my feet ache after hours of walking
but no blisters either. Replaced the flimsy insole with very rubbery thicker insole /
back of my heel hurt before I did this - the heel in the back is too high / too not soft too.
Width is fantastic for my very wide feet --- these fit more like C/D with --- narrow
feet will not like these shoes! I expect them to wear down fast, not much too them
super light and sacraficed inner arch and stability support - but for now, they're
chosen over my Merrills - only because they are so much lighter. I'll watch this style in the
future ---- maybe they'll lower the back of the heel and add a better insole/inner support.
Will mean the weight goes up, but at this weight - it could gain a little and there'd be
no loss. The look (I got the gray) is an ugly yellow bottom.... but I didn't want color
on the top so that's what I get. If you have wide feet and don't need much ooomph in
a shoe, this might be the one for you.

Cane Creek 40-Series Tapered Set (1.5" Crown Race) - Black Review

Cane Creek labeled the 40-Series the "Workhorse" lineup. I really do agree! I have 110 models on two of my bikes, but the lower cup rusted out, and really only needed it as a temporary fix until I get the warrantied 110 back from Cane Creek. To me, the difference between the 110 and 40 series are probably only the cup weight. I feel confident in saying that it is just as smooth and has great sealing like the 110 but at about 1/2 the cost. For a budget performance "set and forget" item on the bike, you really can't go wrong. Is it a Chris King? No, but you're paying half the price of a Chris King. I previously worked in a shop for several years, and build bikes for friends, family and myself, and this is almost always the "go to" headset of choice for the quality and price.

I would say that if the bike is worthy of a Chris King (high dollar carbons and Ti bikes) buy it, but if you have a ceiling on your budge, buy this and save the money to invest into better wheels/tires. The product will serve you well!
