These are my first pair of bike shorts that I've ever owned. They fit perfectly (I bought a M and my hips are 33") and it sits about 1.5" below my belly button. There's even a drawstring for you to adjust. Most importantly, the shorts don't slide down or ride up while I'm riding. Although I still feel the seat beneath me, I think there's just enough padding for comfort without feeling like a diaper.

On sale for $23, I think these shorts are very hard to beat. I'm planning on buying a few more pairs.
