My husband and I hike every weekend with our dog, so we need a pack to carry the usual: water for us and the dog, doggie poop bags, a ball and/or pine cone for throwing, car keys, a hat, kleenex, etc. Our previous pack was finally coming apart, so we tried this one based on the size and other reviews.
