Found this stuff in the tube first, but needed small packets to put in my jersey pocket for reapplication (if necessary) in the middle of a long ride.

DZ nuts contains menthol and Tea Tree Oil, both of which are effective in helping prevent infection. The lubricant is very good and lasts well. If you haven't used a product with menthol prepare to be 'lit up' after you first put it on. It's a very slight skin irritant, and is alternately described as cooling or warming. Either way, the first time you put this on that tender area of your body be prepared. After using it for a couple years, I hardly notice it any more.

The combination of ingredients provides very good lubrication and helps (at least on me) prevent infection in those places that do get rubbed a bit too much.

Each packet contains plenty of lube for a thorough job. The packet is plasticized and holds up well in your jersey pocket regardless of conditions.

Just to help you judge this review: I ride about 4000 miles a year, and often ride century rides. My longest ride each year is 200 miles in a single sitting followed the next day by 100. I've used several different lubrication schemes over the years, and this one works the best for me.

Having a little extra lube in your pocket is real handy in the event you start to get a little sore place. The 50 unit sample jar is WAY overkill. But it's well worth the price to have that extra when you need it.
