Petzl Sama Climbing Harness (Large) Review

I wanted the ease of having a light, fitted harness, and not having to worry about cinching, and un-cinching leg loops. However, I had a really tough time trying to determine the size according to Petzl's size chart on their website. I ended up ordering a Large because my leg size was at the top tier of the medium sizing for leg loops. I am 5'10 175lbs and my thigh measurements with loose gym pants were 59cm. So far, the harness feels great, I've only worn it once climbing so I anticipate a bit of stretching, but very comfortable so far. I will update this review when I spend more time with it.

Update: The ease of this harness is great! Once the waist strap is loosened its super easy to step out of, no hassle! However, I noticed the waist size is a bit big for me. The large fits great as far as the legs are concerned, but I have to cinch the waist down quite a bit. My waist with a t-shirt measures around 84cm. Hasn't given me any problems yet, but it would be nice to have more room if it stretches. According to Petzl's sizing (I included it below for your ease), I could have gone with a Medium, but I would've risked sitting too tight in the legs, which could've made the harness very uncomfortable. If I happen to come across a Medium to try, I'll update the review once more, but so far, very pleased with the Large size and the harness.
