They are exactly how shown and comfortable. They are a cotton like blend with polyester they feel like. They were not exactly what I wanted... looking more like the velvet navy sweat pants I had got rid of from Op that were so unique no brand has anything that appears to look like that product. These pants, although, are red and blue so can still go with red, white, and blue if you feel like going for the Patriotic vibe. I am more a small-medium or medium type person -- 5 foot two and these smalls fit perfect! Lines in pants are one of my favs also. I have the same pants in black and gold also. Did I tell you they were also comfortable! Good for lounging
