I am the mom of three very active, outdoorsy, brave little boys. Clearly, we can save money by purchasing higher quality attire and shoes because they will be better hand-me-downs. In the past two years, we have started buying Keens almost exclusively for the boys because they are virtually indestructible. They may show minor wear, but no tearing or falling apart, as with the shoes we've bought in the past. (Adidas, Nike, Stride-Rite, etc.) The way that Keen makes the front-foot with the rubber sole coming up over the toes makes it wear incredibly well for little boys who may or may not drag their toes on occasion, too. And the shoes are made slightly wider than most brands which accommodates the chunkier feet of toddlers and growing children. LOVE Keens.
