I bought this pack to use a gym bag, but ended up returning it. While I really liked the clean design and the idea of separate shoe compartments, the pack just doesn't work for me.

There are a few problems. First, the side zippers don't go down very far, so the opening on the top of the bag is really small. Second, even though the shoe compartments unzip on the outside, they're actually just large pouches inside the main compartment of the bag. Obvious, maybe, but the problem is that if you put shoes or other items in there, they jut out into the main compartment and make it hard to put other things in there. The organizer inside is nice, but again, you can't put too many things in it or they'll just get in the way.

So between the small top opening and the bulges created by the shoe pouches and organizer, it's not easy to access the interior of the bag. I prefer to fold my clothes neatly, stack them in my bag, then close the zipper, suitcase-style. But with this pack, I would have to stuff my clothes in from the top, crumpled around the shoes. It's just not a practical design.

Other than that, it seems to be a decent bag. The straps and mesh back are comfortable, the zippers are easy to use, and there were no problems with the material or stitching. If only it had a full zipper, it would be a keeper.
