XLAB Right Sidekick Carbon Cage (White) Review

I got this because I have a 51cm road frame, so a side-load cage is easier to use on the seat tube. The cage is stiff, unlike some carbon cages that seem too flexible to hold a bottle properly. If you have a bare glossy 3K carbon fiber frame, the cage will match it perfectly.

Side entry is super easy, and it holds a bottle well. Also, by using mounting slots instead of holes, it gives you way more mounting options.

NOTE: These cages come with either left or right entry. That LEFT/RIGHT designation refers to which hand you'd grab the bottle with if it was mounted on your downtube. However, if you want to mount the cage on your seat tube, buy the opposite sided cage.

In other words, get the RIGHT cage if you plan to grab the bottle with your LEFT hand with the cage mounted on your seat tube, and vice versa. If you plan to buy a pair, and use one in each location, then make sure you buy both types.
