I began using heavy darts (ie. 32gm, 28gm.) and lowered the weight over time to the use of 22 gm. darts with success. When my darts began tail dropping with the 22 gm. I tried different shafts and flights with limited results. Having free Amazon reward points I ordered these 18 gm. Bottelsen Hammer Heads and feel I have finally found a set of darts that suit my style of throw. In researching top champion dart players, it seems they as well use light weight darts. They function as Hammer Heads should with no issues. I only wish these came as a Steel non-convertible selection. I have no need for the convertible soft tips. Other than this I am extremely pleased with this item.
