This is a custom hand made Black Holster for the FNP45, or FNX45. Item # 0053 This holster was made for Inside the Waistband, it has 1.5" Belt Loops. This holster is made for the right hand shooter, left available as a custom order. We use 7 to 8 oz. premium leather, wet molded to fit the gun. Our recommended wearing position is 3:30 - 4:00; positioning the front of the holster with the side seam of your pants, the back of the holster towards your back pocket.

Winthrop's top notch quality, workmanship and design are all winning factors. Speedy break in and fast draw with good retention are all nice aspects of this piece. Value is excellent for the item you receive. My only...constructive criticism is that Winthrop would do well to incorporate a metal or plastic element in the top of the holster to hold the throat open to ease re-holstering. To carry a 3 lb pistol IWB you have to wear an actual gunbelt and cinch your pants fairly tightly, and this works against you re-holstering one handed or quickly.
