Bought this for my dad this past Christmas. He has a 44 mag Vaquero and every time you shoot it, the trigger guard would dig into your middle finger's knuckle. After 6 shots you didn't want to shoot it anymore. With these your knuckles are a out of the way of the guard so no broken knuckles. Also I like that this grip is a bit bigger than the stock grip so for him, with bigger hands, it makes the gun much more enjoyable to grip and shoot.

He did have a bit of trouble getting them on, I would suggest You Tube, there is a screw that you may not think to remove to get the stock grip off, but you have to.
